🦷 Mondays with Mark: Save 28% in Healthcare Costs—Why Your Dentist Matters!

I read a fantastic study recently that asserted that overall savings to healthcare is 28% when gum disease is treated. Wow, that’s a lot! The reason for this, of course, is that gum disease is an inflammatory disease. The oral systemic connection is valuable even if you approach it purely from a healthcare cost savings standpoint.

This is fantastic evidence of how dentists, especially functional dentists, play a critical role in reducing overall disease and chronic illness. I say it all the time, and I’ll happily say it again—you cannot be healthy without a healthy mouth. Overall health starts with oral health!
