Can you catch gum disease from a kiss? 💋
The answer is YES! Gum disease and cavity-causing bacteria are transferred via saliva. But gum disease isn’t solely caused by the transfer of “bad” bacteria, so you don’t need to stop kissing your loved one. But I do recommend you refrain from kissing your kids on the lips or even sharing utensils.
