Banana-mango “nice” cream is a great way to celebrate a warm summer’s day or simply bring the tropics to your kitchen on a lazy Saturday. This ice cream recipe is sure to be a hit with the whole family!

Ingredients
- 1 medium bunch of bananas, chopped
- 2 ½ cups frozen mango
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional*)
- 1 ½ teaspoons agave (optional*)
- Toppings:
- Sliced kiwi
- Sliced almonds
- Melted dark chocolate (80% or greater), for drizzling
Instructions
In a large container, add the bananas and place them in the freezer for up to one hour.
In a large food processor add in the banana and mango and blend, occasionally stopping to scrape down the sides with a wooden spatula.
Add in the vanilla extract and agave and continue to blend until mixture is well-combined.
Serve immediately with desired toppings or store in a glass container, with a tight fitting lid, until ready to use.
Notes
Note: If serving later, allow to rest for 5 minutes after removing from the freezer.
