Dr. Sheri is a full-spectrum airway focused dentist who fuses together modern dentistry and traditional health practices in order to optimize her patient’s oral health. She blends holistic and naturopathic dentistry and uses advanced technology in her practice to provide the best treatment options available. She focuses on “integrative medicine” to fix parts of the mouth and jaw that are malfunctioning, misaligned or diseased to prevent issues elsewhere in the body. Dr. Sheri was awarded Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2020. Only 2% of dentists in the U.S. achieve this. She is also a Certified Biological Dentist by the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine. Dr. Sheri obtained her degree and Board Certification in Integrative Biological Dental Medicine and as a naturopathic physician at The American College of Integrative Medicine & Dentistry. She is certified with International Foundation for Nutrition and Health; this allows her to help her with proper nutrition to eliminate many ailments and dental issues.
Her training in Biomimetic dentistry allows her to expand upon regular “holistic” type of dental treatment by reconstructing teeth using the latest biologically compatible materials. She is both a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics. She is accredited by the Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology and Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry and SMART certified “Safe Mercury Removal”. She has Diplomate status with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and has her fellowship with International Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Sheri is passionate about helping each child grow to their genetic potential. The goals of treatment revolve around overall wellness, a large airway, temporomandibular joint strength and proper facial aesthetics. With the Daytime/Nighttime Appliance, Anterior Facial Growth Guided Orthopedic, or Alternative Lightwire Function, treatment focuses on creating harmony in the body and correcting underlying causes of dysfunction. Dr. Sheri takes a comprehensive view of dentistry and seeks to help patients with not just dentistry, but healthy bodies and lifestyles. She focuses on using safe and biocompatible dental material for her patients. She has studied Craniofacial Epigenetic Orthopedics and Pneumopedics®, Ceramic Implantology, Spear’s Occlusion, Straight Wire Orthodontics, Orthodontics Appliance Therapy, Dentomandibular Sensorimotor Dysfunction Therapy, Functional Cosmetics and Aesthetics, Sleep Apnea Therapy and holistic dentistry that concentrates on whole body health. Her office provides mercury safe removal, air way focused jaw orthopedic and orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, laser gum and bone regeneration procedures and implants. Dr. Sheri offers treatment for children as young as newborn with tethered tongues who may be experiencing problems feeding. She notes that screenings should start early and parents need to be looking for telltale signs starting at birth. Feeding and breathing habits have a huge effect on jaw development, alignment and airway management. For orthodontics and jaw expansion, Dr. Sheri notes that best results happen before the age of twelve and when doctor and patient work together to create a successful team.
