Education:

• Dr. Sheri is a full spectrum dentist who fuses together all aspects of modern dentistry and traditional health practices in order to optimize her patient’s oral health. She incorporates features of the holistic and naturopathic community and utilizes the most advanced technology in her practice so that she provides the absolute best treatment options available anywhere. She focuses on “integrative medicine” to understand and fix parts of the mouth and jaw that are malfunctioning, misaligned or diseased due to factors elsewhere in the body. Her results are what some call “functional dentistry” or enhanced performance techniques that improve the whole body as a system.
• Dr. Sheri studies dental contributions to medical symptoms and overall natural wellness. She continuously attends advanced post-graduate courses in integrative dentistry and functional medicine. Dr. Sheri was awarded Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in 2020. The Mastership Award is the highest honor available in the AGD and one of the most respected designations in the profession. This accomplishment meets the highest criteria for professional excellence which is only designated to the top 2% of dentist in the country. She is also Certified Biological Dentist by International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine. Dr. Sheri obtained her degree and Board Certification in Integrative Biological Dental Medicine (I.B.D.M.) at The American College of Integrative Medicine & Dentistry. Dr. Sheri has been trained in Biomimetic dentistry allowing her to expand upon the regular “holistic” type of dental treatment and take it to the next level by reconstructing teeth the way nature intended only using the latest biologically compatible materials.
• Dr. Sheri is awarded board certification by the American Naturopathic Medical Board. Other awards and fellowships include International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, International Orthodontic Association, International Congress of Oral Implantologists and American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics. She is also Certified Biological Dentist by the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine. She is accredited by Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology and Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry and SMART certified “Safe Mercury Removal”. She has achieved a Diplomate status with American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine for dedication in treatment and advanced education in management of patients with sleep apnea. This is known as the highest credential a dentist can earn in dental sleep medicine.
• Dr. Sheri is passionate about helping each person grow to their genetic potential. The goals of treatment revolve around overall wellness, a large airway, temporomandibular joint strength and proper facial aesthetics. During the Daytime Nighttime Appliance (DNA), Anterior Facial Growth Guided Orthopedic or Alternative Lightwire Function (ALF) treatment focuses on creating harmony in the body and correcting underlying reasons the unfavorable situation occurred in the first place.
• Dr. Sheri takes a comprehensive view of dentistry and is a member of the Weston A. Price Foundation and Holistic Mom Network. Dr. Sheri seeks to help patients with not just dentistry, but healthy bodies and healthy lifestyles. She focuses on using safe and biocompatible dental material for her patients and has invested in a laser that reduces chance of root canals by 90% as well as ability to regenerate bone. She has studied Craniofacial Epigenetic Orthopedics and Pneumopedics®, Ceramic Implantology, Spear’s Occlusion, Straight Wire Orthodontics, Orthodontics Appliance Therapy, Dentomandibular Sensorimotor Dysfunction Therapy, Functional Cosmetics and Aesthetics, sleep apnea appliances and courses in holistic dentistry that concentrates on whole body health. Her office provides comprehensive dental care such as mercury safe removal, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, laser gum and bone regeneration procedures, implants, whitening and of course preventative care.
• Dr. Sheri is a Certified Clinician in Whole Food Nutrition by the International Foundation of Nutrition & Health. Her focus is on prevention and wellness in order to keep health problems from taking hold. These foundational issues are some of the root causes that upset body chemistry and processes.
