Ask the Dentist is a site set up with the intention of helping people to understand how your mouth is a window into the health of the rest of your body. It is my sincere hope that the knowledge and tools on this blog will lead to greater health and well-being for you and your family. Ask the Dentist has been running since 2009, and since this time the site has seen growth from just a handful of readers to tens of thousands of visitors a day.
There are costs associated with maintaining a blog, hosting a website/URL, and having a team to help run it. Not to mention the hundreds of hours we personally put into this labor of love. To help the site expand and to cover costs of running the site, Ask the Dentist runs some advertising on the site and engages in the use of some affiliate links. These affiliate links (largely to Amazon.com) earn Ask the Dentist a small commission on any purchases that anyone makes when they visit Amazon after clicking on one of our links.
These commissions help us to keep Ask the Dentist growing and helping more people.
Transparency and honesty are core to the values of Ask the Dentist. If you have any questions, I encourage you to send me an email: [email protected]
